Born and raised in NYC, Dr. Katherine Galatis had strong interests in both animals and medicine from an early age. She pursued a B.S. in Biology from Stony Brook University and attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon completion of her clinical rotations at Purdue University in 2017, Dr. Galatis returned to New York and has been practicing in the greater metro area since. Dr.
Galatis is particularly passionate about surgery, preventive medicine and client education. When not at work, Dr. Galatis enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling, spending time with family and learning dance styles from around the world.
Dr. Lucila Hernandez

Dr. Lucila Hernandez is a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian who earned her degree from St. George’s University. She loves building strong relationships with both her patients and their families, and she strives to make every visit comfortable, positive, and stress-free. Her caring personality, attention to detail, and upbeat attitude help create a welcoming experience for every pet that walks through the door.
When she’s not caring for animals, Dr. Hernandez enjoys singing karaoke, surrounding herself with positive vibes, and embracing her favorite color pink. Her love for animals continues at home, where she cares for her own lively crew of 2 birds, 3 cats, and 1 dog. Her passion for veterinary medicine, combined with her fun and friendly personality, makes her a valued part of the team and a trusted advocate for pets and their owners alike.
